Cheyney Court is where the Bishops of Wnchester once met to hear legal cases involving the area they controlled, called the Soke. Next to the stone buildings you'll notice two adjacent timber-framed buildings from around the 14 century. You'll often hear the Cathedral and College choirs rehearsing here; the sound is quite exquisite.
